Personal:

I have been running approx. 10 years. I started running in HS for X-Country and track. After high school, I took 1 year completely off and several were just leisurely runs a few times per week. The past two years, I became pretty serious about competeting. I am 24 years old. I am student in a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. I hope to incorporate mental and physical health as a psychologist (when I finally finish school).

I Love Running, it keeps me sane!

took it easy today... supposedly one is to reverse tapper post-marathon... which is what I'm doing. Plus my dang it-band is still kind tight, that is a hard place to stretch.

I think next week I'll move into higher mileage... if anyone reads this is 2 weeks of reverse tappering post-marathon sufficient, too much, too little?

I dunno about reverse tapering. You can look at what MichelleL and Josse are doing to ideas. ITB is very hard to stretch. The only thing I have heard is to be sure to do the stretches SEVERAL times a day. Be dilligent.

Great run! I have heard alot of marathoners say 1 day of very easy running for every mile ran. ????

Have a great day!! When does your term end?

Yeah... I was super prepared for pre-marathon training, but I feel like a lost sheep with the recovery thing. I'll check Michelle's blog.

My quarter doesn't end til Dec. 13th. Speaking of which I gotta go do some homework, ugh!

Have a nice Wednesday!
